Lenovo embarrassed with cheap marketing: So called ‘truly bezel-less’ phone now launched with notch and chin at bottom

Lenovo has been teasing so much earlier about a new phone Z5 with leaks of renders and sketches of the phone that indicates about the Z5 comes with a truly all side bezel-less display without notch on the top. But finally Lenovo launched Z5 in Beijing china and it really embarrassed us.

Lenovo has create hype about Z5 with posting so many renders and sketches about the phone that indicates ‘all side bezel-less’ display concept from Lenovo but after the launched of Z5, it seems that the concept of ‘all side bezel-less’ display does not match the same concept anyway. We can clearly see cheap marketing approach in below pictures that the Z5 teased earlier and the final product pictures of Z5. It’s really embarrassed us.



Anyway, The Z5 comes with 6.2inch 18.7:9 aspect ratio display and 2.5d curved gorilla glass on top with 90% body-to-screen ratio. But unexpectedly, the Z5 also has a Notch on the top and chin at the bottom. The company claims that the bezels of the phone are thinner than MI8 and iPhone X and notch that is smaller than those two phones.

The Z5 runs on ZUI 3.9 based on Android Orio 8.1 out-of-the box. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core processor and 3300 mAh battery backup which support fast charging.

Camera-wise, The Z5 comes with 16MP with f/2.0 aperture + 8MP with f/2.0 aperture duel camera vertically setup on the back that comes with AI technology, HDR+ and 4K video recording support. While on the front, the Z5 fits with 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that support full HD video recording.

The best part of the Z5 is that it comes with very competitive price. Lenovo launched Z5 at 1299 Yuan (around Rs. 13700) for 6GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage option and 1700 Yuan (around Rs. 17800) for 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage option. The Z5 will go on sale in China on 12th June but for India and Global market the date yet not announced.
